The Mercedes Benz SL500 R230 model is a modern classic with timeless styling, a power folding hardtop convertible roof, and equipped with a powerful 5.0 liter 302 hp V8 mated to a 5 speed Auto Transmission with sport shift capabilities. This SL 500 is finished in black (040 paint code) with tan interior and wood grain accents. It comes equipped with Mercedes Benz advanced Active Body Control (ABC) air suspension, optional AMG sport package that includes AMG style front bumper, foglight, rear bumper, side/hood vents, Bi-Xenon headlights and factory 5 spoke AMG style wheels. This tastefully modified SL 500 comes with rare 3 multi piece wheels made by SSR wheels Japan in 19 inch configuration. SL 500 sound, appearance and performance has been improved with a aftermarket quad tip exhaust manufactured by Top Speed Pro Auto, providing a throaty growl under acceleration. Aftermarket Carbon Creations Full Carbon Fiber front lip spoiler complements the AMG sport package front bumper. Recent major maintenance performed recently include a brand new factory ABC pump, new factory radiator fan, and brand new factory convertible roof cylinders (Front and rears). Roof opens and closes without issue due to replacement of all major components with brand new factory parts. Car will come with OEM stock wheels in addition to the aftermarket wheels that are already installed. Although seller is third owner, first owner purchased car brand new in 2003, serviced car regularly at Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills and put on the majority of the 90,000 highway miles. 2nd owner purchased in 2018, put on a few thousand miles before seller purchased car from private seller on October 2023 at 94,000 miles and have since put on an additional 900 miles.
